How to reach the conference by plane

The closest airport is the Venice airport. From the airport it is possible to reach Padua by taxi, shuttle, train or bus. For shuttle and taxi, advance booking is recommended.

by bus: from Venice Airport to Padova you can use the FSBUSITALIA bus service (FSBUSITALIA). Departures are every 40 minutes from outside the airport’s entrance hall. PADOVA AUTOSTAZIONE (railway station) is the arrival stop. The journey lasts approximately 45 minutes.

by bus + train: from Venice Airport reach the Mestre-Venice railway station via the ATVO Fly Bus or via the ACTV bus 15. Then take the train to Padua (Trenitalia website, www.trenitalia.com). The journey lasts approximately 30 + 20 minutes.

by shuttle: suggested companies are AirService and GoOpti.

by taxi: at arrival, you can catch a taxi. Approximated fare can be calculated at https://www.radiotaxivenezia.com/en/

How to reach the conference by train

From the Padova train station, you can reach Palazzo Bo by taxi, tram or on foot.

by taxi: the taxi park is located in front of the train station (www.taxipadova.com, ph: +39 049 651333).  It takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the Palazzo Bo.

by tram (SIR1): from the train station take the tram and get off at the ‘Ponti Romani’ stop, which is close to 
Palazzo Bo. The journey takes approximately 4 minutes.

on foot: Palazzo Bo can be easily reached on foot in about 15 minutes from the train station.
